A little wobble is indeed acceptable, as long as it's not causing vibration and the damper looks to be intact I wouldn't worry too much about it. My old NG engine Coupe's damper developed a slight wobble sometime around 200K miles, was fine for at least another 40K.
When I first got my 3B the damper wobbled slightly. When I had the motor rebuilt and balanced the shop noticed the nose of the crank wasn't flat. They suggested the damper might have been loose at some point and hammered the nose while running. I had the nose of the crank ground flat and that fixed it.
