1991 CQ 7A with grey fuel injectors

My 1991 with 7A engine has sprung a fuel leak between the fuel rail and the aluminum injector adapter that mates with the grey Bosch injectors.
Upon inspection, just about all the rubber O rings of the adapters and the injectors are tired and done. (I’ve had the car since new and this set up is over 20 years old.)

What’s the current replacement for the grey injectors? I may just reuse them as well. The car ran great.

What’s the highest quality O rings material I can use and how do I source them?

I think the aging gaskets and seals on these cars are our biggest challenge. I need a new rack and rear center seal that I will replace once my clutch needs replacement.

    Thank you.

I recently carried out the injector upgrade. I chose the black EV6 Bosch injectors (same as the reds), but I believe all of the classic Bosch injector upgrade options (grey, red, black, etc.) are EV6. This is the kit I used with Viton o-rings https://www.mrinjectoruk.co.uk/produ...40025891438665

I'm in the UK, and so is this company; however, the details and dimensions of everything are in the product description. If you're sourcing everything separately in the US, then make sure you get the flat pintle caps. Any other version won't allow the injector's end to seat properly in the manifold.

I fitted an 034 7A injector upgrade kit for a customer last year...

034Motorsport's complete 7A EFI injector adapter kit upgrades the failure-prone factory 7A fuel injectors with modern high impedance Bosch fuel injectors. The Bosch injectors supplied in the kit are an exact match for the stock Hitachi injectors, but offer more consistent flow and superior atomization. Provides improved idle, part-throttle response, fuel economy, and horsepower over stock Hitachi injectors.

Highly impressed with the quality of the parts and fit, took less than hour to install and cured a couple of issues with slightly inconsistent idle and pig rich running. Though I advised the owner to also change the coolant sensor on the back of the head just to be on the safe side as without spending a lot of extra time rigging up a wideband Llambda sensor I had no way of checking the mixture.

I only drove the car afterwards so can't offer a comparison though it went great and felt very smooth.

As above Viton O-rings are the best quailty available.
