    Engine ecu

I’ve finally given up on my engine ecu issues and now I’m looking into replacing it with an aftermarket option.
does anyone have any recommendations or experience in this matter ?
    thanks

Hi dave, do you really, as you know I bought the car as a non runner and once finished I found it was only running on 41/2 cylinders,
after testing everything including swapping over to individual coils and traced the fault back to a poor signal output for one of the coils, I found a place that could test and repair the ecu, however when it returned it wouldn’t run and had g40,g 28 signal faults. Nothing had changed so I sent it back and they said it was ok ?, so I decided to replace it, however they are like hens teeth.
