Highest Performance Spark Plugs for 1991 CQ with 7A engine

    Hi there!

I've been using Bosch F6DTC on my B3 CQ since new. They're fine and cheap. They are now made in China and I noticed some variability from plug to plug.

There are so many options now , iridium, triple platinum or whatever else!

What's the best current spark plug for the 7A engine?

    Thank you!

I was going to suggest Bosch OE plugs but if you're not entirely happy with the quality now they're made in China NGK BCP6ET would be my next choice, I've never had a problem with either of those brands in over 30 years...

There's not really any need to go for expensive Iridium etc plugs with an NA engine, good old copper core ones are fine, especially with a 35+ year old car. Their plugs get a pretty easy life compared to turbocharged engines which most more modern designs are aimed at.
