The idea behind this thread I hope is that people can post parts that they have brought.

I think this parts thread is fundamentally flawed. Its going to become a nightmare. Whats wrong with VAGCAT or the other parts software (available on eBay etc) ?

I kind of agree with that...
What I do think would be a good idea, is posting of places to get parts which are either upgrades on the OE part, or specifically a different part, like the bomb, or maybe ARB, or IMs or such like, stuff which comes from unusual sources, other than the usual suspects, such as VAGParts, Corey, Quattro Corner, etc etc etc....
But I agree, it will be a thread of 10,000 pages, all with different parts not really relevant when you look for something specific...
