I spoke to martyn about these when I popped in and ordered mine (saw yours on the wayto you paul
) and they said that powerflex re-done them to get rid of the squeaking that the first versions had.

Seriously - go to www.vagparts.com - you will find what you need. RS2 FARB joints are PFF3-103-27 !Leave a comment:

i reckon on standard subframe mounts these will be a winner, with alloy mounts and these you might be getting more noise through them. I have the ally mounts and oem w/bone bushes, if they fail soon then I'm going this way too....the car is going to be tracked more this year and is definately a 3rd car now so it can afford to be trading some comfort for feel/performance i think
Keep us posted...

Oh and they seem to have a mighty list of Powerflex bushes for RS2 and S2 Avant - looks like all them at 1st glance.

And finally - just a snap for reference of the correct orientation of wishbone bolts. Torque setting on these is 40Nm plus 180 degrees. Not easy to do on the ground...
Paul
UPDATE - I have just realised the attached pic is labelled wrongly. This wishbone is actually from the opposite side and therefore FRONT and REAR should be swapped over as well. Sorry for any confusion - will try to dig up original pic and rectify labels.Attached FilesLeave a comment:

Number 5... With pins inserted and notes about why they need to be centred - the supplied washers just fit on the ends and some grease is required to hold them there while handling them and fitment.Attached FilesLeave a comment:

4th one up - inserting the metal pins. Photo shows wrong side - you soon realise this as it pushes the rubber out the fat-end. D'oh - didn't take a pic from the right way round. Tap -em in from the outside !Attached FilesLeave a comment:

3rd pic - Rubber bits installed with copius grease. Notes added to pic.Attached FilesLeave a comment:
