    20vt into US spec b4 90q w/v6 questions

    Hello all,

Im about to aquire an AAN out of an s4 and have a few questions on getting it to fit into my b4 90. First question I have is about the engine mounting brackets. Since the c4 s4 is based on the 100 that originally came with the 12v v6 like my car has now would the stock mounting brackets from the s4 mount up to the mounting points that the v6 in my car mount up to? I was thinking if they dont would the brackets out of an s2 sedan fit since its the same chassis or is my only option to go custom? I also plan on keeping the stock front mount radiator as i will be running an AAN intake manifold for the time being, does anyone know what I should do about coolant hoses? Would the ones that the s4 uses fit? I will basically have everything from an s4 because a friend of mine pulled everything needed out a a wrecked car and was going to swap everything into a cq but decided not to. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Dominik

    hello.

the v6 mounitng points on the chassis are in a different position, and there is no space for the front radiator for the 5cly. i think you also need the lower pipe under the radiator from a 5cyl too...

custom engine mounts is a must, and if you want to keep a front mounted radiator setup either a 4 cylinder 80 radiator or the s4 radiator will be your only OEM options. you might be able to fit fans behind the radiator but most likely front mount fans.

The engine mounts have no oem options that are not bolt in, and something basically has to be welded together. The front mount radiator setup is a possibility but the only guy i seen do it hasn't shown his face on forums in a long long time.

there is space for the radiator but you have to leave it as a serpentine belt setup!

          IL5 engine mounts.

All the welded in parts are available seperately if you want the oem look.
