    2nd car insurance

Hi all its been a while but should be getting my s2 back soon and was wandering about insurance. I am 21 with 4 years no claims that i am currentley using on my work car a bmw 523i. I will only use the audi on weekends etc but will not be able to give any no claims on the insurance policy because i want to run both cars . Any tips for cheap insurance , could i insure on classic car insurance ??? Any response greatly appreciated thanks rich .

I have insured my S2 with Elephant for the past 3 years. I called them and because they are linked with admiral they put my VW polo onto a multi car policy. They gave me 2 years equivalent NCB so the polo and S2 cost me £550.

There are classic car policies that will probably be cheaper but they didn't seem to recognise the S2 as a 'classic' which was annoying but you may have more luck.

I had exectly the same problem as you, and the only company i could find was HIC.

They let me use my 6 years no claims on the s2 golf and also mirror the no claims bonus onto my audi 80 daily driver

Try Adrian Flux for a classic car policy with limited mileage, thats how I insure mine.

            Mot's normally I think.

I did similar to people above. I kept my NCB on S2 and started another policy on my daily driver. I was slightly expensive to start with but I soon notched up some NCB on my second car.

There are dual car policies about and I think it is admiral that do them.

My second car is with HIC, the S2 is with Greenlight on a great policy, not the cheapest but loads of extras. THe HIC policy on my Polo and now 318is had an introductory offer of mirrored NCB and as it's HIC they're mod friendly.

Try footman james, I have 5 cars now and all are insured on the same plolicy it's a multi car policy and tailored for everyones circumstances but 1 car must be a classic.
