    200.000km service

    Hello,

My car ('95 RS2) is reaching the beautiful 200.000km marker on the odo and I'm starting to think about a major service.

Of course I'll be doing full replacement of oil in the engine, gearbox and diff's as well as a replacement of the cam belt (and PAS belt?).

Now I wonder if you guys know any special parts of spots I should be checking, some common things that are wearing after that high a mileage?
Maybe there is some kind of checklist?

PS: I just replaced brakes and brakepads, aircon has been done recently too.

    Thanks in advance

That is not what I would call high mileage on these engines , mine has done over 180 000 miles / 290 000 km .
Do the cam belt if you don't know it was done recently , but if all else seems OK, good oil pressure
and doesn't burn oil ect then it is fine.
If it has not been neglected then it should fine at that mileage.

Whats a normal oil usage at this point? Im running 10w40 Castrol.

Oil pressure is at 1,8 at normal temp but lowers to 1.2 at 110degrees (after a nurburgring-lap in the summer)
