    Inlet manifold tool

Finally got this sorted after many hours on the phone....just to let every on else know, the tool to get at the IM bolts is supposedly called a "long reach allen key". And part Number is T100 58. ( I think) Cost is £12 sumthing + vat from Volkswagen Group Uk Ltd.
Hope this is a help to people.

If you have a Craftsman store in europe, you should be able to get the problem tool there. It's a T handle allen key.
I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?

Just in case anyone else makes a mistake and believes this post, it is not correct. The part number avbove is for a 4mm long reach key, IM bolts are 6mm, I do not have the correct part number though...., But dont buy this thinking it will do your IM!!!!

Ah I have a new plan, you can do the work @ the garage meet

Shame I can't afford to do it all at the same time as my car fix.

I agree with Jamo, I own a VAG1669 which I bought from Audi. It is also stamped on my tool. BTW, it is made by Hazet and has the Audi logo stamped in the socket.

It's definitely on the list. Try asking again. This time at the back door.

BTW, you can also reference the 1669 with the Hazet number 2584-1.......it is the same tool. Maybe that will help.
