    Central locking

Can anyone suggest what i can do to remedy the central locking not working?

The wife left the radio on overnight, and today the Coupe had a flat battery. I jump started it only to find that the central locking is now not responding to the buttons on the keyring alarm...?

The car has a Clifford concept 300 alarm.

    Thanks

Ive got the same alarm and my battery went flat recently. I had to unlock the car with the key to get in and put the charger on. Now the battery is charged have you tried locking and unlocking it with the key? then see if it will remote lock?

      Thanks Shaun,

Seems that mine will not co-operate with the simple "key" solution. Do you know if there is a reset button hidden somewhere on a car usually with a Clifford alarm?

i have this alarm and have the same problem

the alarm seems to get out of sync with the doors been unlocked while its got no power.

locking it with the key and then pressing the button then usually unlocks it with mine. but can take a few trys of locking with key, button press, unlock with key, button press etc

make sure the battery hasnt died in the key fob...i made that mistake once!

ps...that alarm is VERY loud in a closed garage!

Thanks for all the advise guys,

It turned out to be a case of the battery (car battery) was at the end of its life! The radio had obviously drained the last of it, and pushed it into permanent retirement.

A new 12volt battery and she is as good as new!

Just on a side note, what 12Volt batteries are you using? And how much did you pay for it?

            I paid 64 Quid for a 096 Quantum!

            S.

Good to hear you got it sorted. I would say that was a fair price for the battery, although i havent bought one for a while.
