What size are the wheels on the avant? 16's?

Those where 17" Oz Futuras 7,5" wide (225/45R17) they are now going on my winter tyres.

Never thought of doing this but my rear wiper has only worked omce or twice so might join the club

I used a head set of a mountain bike on my old one.. Thinking about doing it to this one makes it look lovely n smooth. An well if your car is clean who needs a wiper...

So if you drive the car in the rain, 10 minutes down the road you can see nothing out the back window, how is this a good idea?

Agreed, the rear wiper on an avant is a necessity, the coupe could do without..

All though I would not recommend de-wipering the front

Like the midnight race club in Japan - they went through a phase of de-wipering the fronts because of the aerodynamic impact above 160mph (!)

Why would you want to do that? Rear wiper ESP. Ay this time of year with all the ice and salt makes it horrible to look from the rear view mirror.

Just use the lupo wiper arm which looks much better
