    V6 to i5 Engine Brackets

Needing Help from someone with a bit more knowledge than myself, my project i am doing at the moment is to convert an audi 80 B4 sedan V6 quattro to an rs2 spec replica. I am removing the old V6 engine and replacing it with a 2.2 20v i5.

From my knowledge i understand that the engine brackets need to be replaced. I have obtained a set of i5 brackets and just need to know the positioning of the new i5 brackets that are to be welded in. Is there a big change in comparison with the old v6 brackets that are going to be cut out the chassis?

If anyone can help that would be much appreciated! cheers

I haven't done this conversion but if I did I'd mate engine and box, then position in bay and fit the mounts to the engine-then showing where they d fit on the chassis
    I did similar when I built a v8 Capri

If you do not bend mounts when you remove them from the donor car they will get only in 1 position.Observe in pic at the rear is a flat surface that will auto position the mounting front/rear.And the front upper part you just put it upside the longitudinal member.I got engine on gbox and positioned with it but i realised it is no need to do so.
Best way to get a clean mounting is to cut the donor longitudinal member near the mounting as you can and after that just cut small pieces until you get the clean mounting.
I think this mount you were asking for.The alu one from the block is bolted no welding and positioning needed
