HELP! How does one change the #b cap and rotor?

Hi all:

I know the 10VTs like the back of my hand. I was shocked when I discovered where the distributor cap and rotor are in the Coupe Quattro with a full set 3B go fast bits bolted to a 7A.

Please tell me there is a way to change the cap and rotor without removing the IM! PLEASE!

If there really isn't then a BTDT of this chore would be very helpful. I searched but came up with nothing.

It's bit hard but can be done without removing the IM, fiddle a bit

It's not that hard to take the IM off IF you have the right tools.

When mine is off, I just tie it up out of the way.
