    Cam position sensor

I'm having the cambelt done next week, and would like to ask about the cam position sensor should I change it wiphile the front is off and also where to buy one from, obsolete from audi and tps. Appreciate any help.
Also I'll start a fresh thread, I've bought two new wings genuine new headlamps genuine front bumper and have the car stripped ready for respray, so all possible jobs are getting done

G40 Cam Sensor info including 3B replacement

THere was a group purchase recently. Maybe somebody has one.

EFI Express in the US has them for decent money.

Can be done later, after the cam belt change, if need be. Easier during the cam belt change but not 100% necessary.

Follow the appropriate hyperlinks to EFI info and Nate P's DIY in this G40 post that I did:

This company claims to have it BUT based on experience, I wouldn't buy anything from them unless I saw it first!
Guess you are relatively local but not sure whether its possible to view it to verify that you are getting what you are paying for:

EFI Express has just the sensor for $15. plus shipping (small mail packet easy to airmail).

Unless the CMP has been giving some grief I wouldnt bother changing it during a timing belt service as it can be done on its own later should the need arise without much grief.

                £7 Ebay special from bulgaria.

                Risked it for that price.

Arrived within a few days. Correct part, still working.
Dont have a link im afraid.

Sure a basic search should bring it up.
