Hi all,
my car just died! I didn't drive it since Friday after refueling it and when I try to start the car this morning, it refuses to. The "check engine" sign is up and pretty sure no lights were left overnight. It sounds like it didn't ignite.

What could the problem be? And what should I do with it now? Sorry, kinda a dumb qn but this is my first car and first breakdown. How much would it cost to get someone to my place to fix the car? And if there is any kind souls living in Manchester, could someone direct me to a reliable repair shop who won't rip a poor student off.

It was petrol you put in and not Diesel?

If the wrong fuel went in it wouldn't start, I don't know about the check light coming on because of this.
