3B oil recommendations?

Hmmm.. ta for the recommendations. Interestingly Castrol themselves recommend Magnatec 10w 40 for the S2.. any thoughts?

The Mobil 1 0w-40 is too thin! They do a 15w-50 but i haven't tried that or heard anything about it being used in our engines. Anyone tried the 15w-50?

Using synta gold at present and finding need to top up occasionally. So I have some Mobil 15-50w which I will use next time. I will let u know

I had Synta Gold but went on a track day and lets just say I'm not using it now. Oil pressures and temperatures went mental and the car started using oil. The 10-60 stuff is where it's at as far as engine protection is concerned.
