I'm still thinking about Billing. I reckon i might go just to see the firestarters in action again. Is there room there for a couple of extra little'uns?

Yeah we should have plenty of room, we have the whole events field to ourselves. right near the pub, fairground etc.

Have we got anymore families coming along?

Thanks to Tom for the new TB hose. He even fitted it for me at the weekend.
The car was finally making some proper boost. Good job too, it's very useful when trying to catch Doug.
I also fixed a small vacuum leak on the MAF-turbo hose on Monday, but it still felt like it was holding back some of the time. So tonight I interrogated the ECU for some fault codes and....

            2322 - Intake Air Temp Sensor (G42)

So first I checked the resistance across the two terminals and got 520 Ohms, so I guessed that was ok. Then I noticed on the loom to the G42, one of the female spade connectors was barely hanging on, to the wire so I'm guessing that's the problem is.
So I’ll have to get my soldering iron out, when there's a bit more light.

I'm well pleased that my ECU isn't carrying a list of faults, like it used to with the old chips. 1111, 2142 and 2144 to name a few. Just one fault code. Another bonus from Mihnea's chips.

Hopefully the old banger will be back to full power soon.

No luck yet Steve. The compressor's not working. I've got switched power to the connector in the loom before the compressor, and the compressor wheel will spin by hand. So it's either the wiring to the clutch or the clutch itself that's knackered.

Cheers Steve. The AC hasn't been used for a while. Maybe it was the lack of gas that's caused the trouble, but I thought there was a low pressure switch to prevent this. I need to get it fixed to keep HRH happy.

Classic Wombles action from Chris and Beetie.

Underground, Overground, Wombling Free, the Wombles of Wimbledon Common are we.
Making good use of the things that we find, things that the everyday folks leave behind.

An old disposable barbeque, half a bag of charcoal, a brick, some wet cardboard, a fork and some bits of tree that Chris managed to hack down. Perfect fire ingredients.
