Just Bought an S2

Good Afternoon.....

Hopefully by tomorrow i should have purchased an Audi S2 in Metallic Red with Black Leather interior - Very Nice!!

My dad had one of these when they first came out and loved it and from what i can remember of it it was very fast and smart looking!

The Car i have hopefully purchased is a bit different - the car has been in an Audi Museum somewhere since being built - so is being offered to me with 100 miles on the clock and will be registered on an 05 plate. They are also offering full Audi warrantly and everything which i feel is very galant of them!

Anyways just thought i would introduce myself and my car.

Hi to the forum. The car sounds fantastic, Its not even run in yet. A 05 plate S2, thats mad . Good to hear you'll be getting warrenty with it although i know when i took my car into a Audi dealership when i first got it they didn't really know what they were looking at

WOW yeah. Wish mine had that few miles on it. Wonder if the boot leaks on it?
Think if I had that one I would be more tempted to keep it absolutely factory standard and have the perfect show car.

Welcome to the fold with that precious car... You are now blessed with the challenge of keeping it in showroom condition whilst showing it off to the rest of us on a regular basis.

Good luck running it in - kinda concerned how she'll go after sitting so long. Oh and yes - don't be expecting too much in the way of knowledge on these babies from your local Audi dealership... unless you are desperately lucky to have some S2 savvy staff in their midst.
