S2 Avant respray and collapsed wheel bearing !

Hi everyone !

Here are the pics of my 1993 S2 Avant that has just been resprayed and finished with the new generation polymer gloss that should help the front end cope with flying stones, pebbles and loose gravel !

But to top things off, after 10 days of work and with the car standing still, the rear passenger side wheel bearing collapsed within 20km of easy-going driving...

So, back to square one, the car is back at "The Shed" as we speak and a new SKF bearing is due on my doorstep tomorrow morning.

Whaddya guys think ?

It doesn't matter how hard you try, there is always something to ****** it up at the eleventh hour. It's the nature of the beast. Nice choice of colour there though:-)

Yeah Tekkno, I do agree that "Indigo Blue" suits the S2 Avant very well...

Not that the RS2 colors don't rock da house, it's just that IMHO, the more squarish and less "in your face" {if I may put it that way, no offense meant RS2 owners } looks of the S2 go better with classical colors... :mischeif:
