Bumper

Hi Nos,

Take a look if you can then i will gladly sell and ship it too you if it is economically worth it.



It has a clean crack all the way through on the corner and also at the bottom skirting. I have all the grilles but not sure what condition the fixing brackets behind are in.
I thought about getting it repaired also but i was advised against it, do not know if that means it can or cannot be repaired.

Everything is fixable..it is just that miracles takes a bit longer time.

I can buy it but that should be for a very low price,I need to add postage to Norway on it too soo it better be cheap.

Car acting strange

Had a weird problem that started monday, felt like a boost leak and the overboost protection was kicking in. Symtoms: when i put my foot down car would judder like it was kangerooing and also idle revs were going up and down like nobodys business. car would occasionally cut out when slowing down in 1st or 2nd gear

car was driveable as long as you changed up gear as quickly as possible without pressing the accelerator down too much. at this point i am thinking the worst, new turbo or worse.
Luckily stuck my head under the bonnet tonight with a torch before i take it to the Audi garage in the morning (time to empty the wallet)

I found this lead hanging loose to my dismay, didnt see it during daylight but with a torch it seemed to be obvoius that it was not supposed to be hanging down like that. so plugged it back into the .......... (flying saucer with yellow cap) What is that lead for? as it sure does alot as far as keeping the car running smoothly.

how it came off is anybodys guess?

still gonna get a full Audi service done soon. when i can afford it.

New bumper fitted

Hi All,

New bumper has been fitted on friday that i got from T2Andy. thanks mate i feel alot better now she looks complete again. I was hovering the car properlñy for the first time today and i found the aerial go figure, good job as i was just about to buy a new one.

You will notice the RS2 badge as my wife was getting me an S2 badge for my birthday but she ordered the wrong one so i will have to upgrade the rest of the car to match the badge I think i am going to do only the brakes and engine upgrades keeping the car externally the same though. :mischeif:

yes mate looking great now IMO thanks for that. I have posted the deal as positive on your feedback. Now i got a few bits to sort out before i start my RS2 upgrade project

1. Wheel speed sensor (brake warning light on all the time)
2. airbag light still on all the time (any idea´s what this could be?)
3. full service (possibly by Audi if i can afford it)

New radiator

Had a new radiator fitted few days back as the old one had a crack (in another thread http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthr...light=radiator
) cost total 300€ which i thought wasn´t too bad for Spain.
noticeable better cooling now, jb weld kept me going until i got it done. Thanks Jamo.
