Audi S2 loved it always wanted one after deciding an UR was too much hard work. Got it 18months old in 1997 from Scotts Sloan square. felt a million dollars down kings road ! Fourrings now cares for it

My past motors:

Silver 1984 A VW Santana GX5 1.9 (Kudos for an 18 year old Got me lovvin the old 5pot engine. Carb was jiggered, Clutch was fried, Electrics knackered - Scrapped.)

Red 1983 Y VW Polo Classic 1.0 (a bit more sensible for a kid - had pepperpots, weber & k&n pancake. Managed to spin it into a wall backwards. Scrapped.)

Inari Silver (pale green metallic as seen on 911s) 1981 X Mk1 Jetta 1.3 (bought for £50 with a 'dead' engine - replaced a core plug and carb mounting and it ran A1. Put on Gti arches, Spax springs and 16v spoiler - loved it to bits until some pleb in a Mondeo t-boned her - Scrapped.)

Beige 1985 B Mk2 Golf 1.3 (bought in haste to replace Jetta - ran well with Gti steelies and trim, but engine subframe rotted - top torque steer! Scrapped.)

Red 1986 D VW Polo CL (Ok, till the battery tray rusted out. p.xed for...)

Red 1990 G VW Passat GT 16v (Top old girl - Lowered her, put on 17s, Custom twin exit DTMs, took her to Santa Pod, got obliterated by those chuffin R5s ( Jamo) Sold to ma mate, ran to 200,000+ but failed MOT on brakelines etc. Scrapped.)

Red (catch a theme here?)1983 Y Porsche 924 (loved it to bits even though it dropped a valve on the way to Glen Coe, still got me back on 3 cyls (fast :mischeif: ) fixed and ran well for ages till divorce forced me to sell it Has since been restored to better than new)

Red 1994 L Passat VR6 estate (Still got - she's a beauty, but will ultimately finance an S2 - 2WD is the limiting factor or she'd be turbo'ed by now :mischeif: )

White (!) 1992 K Polo Mk3 Cl (Brief runabout - pretty crap)

Silver 1984 A Porsche 924 (Celebration of my decree nisi - not the same buzz as my red one, probably better nick, but I'd moved on - too heavy, too slow pxed for...)

Green 1996 P Polo Mk4 (Good little motor, put nice Artec wheels on, ran well, but fancied a change so pxed for...)

Metallic Red 2000 W Alfa Romeo 146 TwinSpark (My only unGerman Auto - lovely leather, looked good, drove well, was reliable, but did absolutely nothing for me Sold it for what I paid for it)

Black 1996 N Audi 80 2.0E Avant SE spec (Still got - opened my eyes to Audi quality - Passat almost feels flimsy A bit slow but handles surprisingly well, will go when I get an S2 - after my trip to Kiwi early next year.)

if we are listing past cars, then i havent had that ^^^ that many, but all have been great cars:

dolomite sprint great original car, loved it to bits
lotus sunbeam bored out and twin dellorto 50's
pug 205 1.6 GTI bought new and owned for 7 years,
puma 1.7 bought new and sold after 3 years, excellent fun.
S2 Avant nuff said!!

i have had a few daily drivers including 1.1 fiesta, pug 306 TD, and clio 16v currently.
