I sold the RS2 a few weeks ago & I've been looking for a replacement for the Passat TDi too. I've finally found one with the spec I wanted and put a deposit down on a mint looking Passat VR5 today. They're quite rare apparently. And it's got a top spec - climatronic air con, electric sunroof, heated seats, half leather/alcantara, etc. I'll post some pic's after I've picked it up next week. I guess I'll have to find somewhere else to post
you gave away your RS2 for this?????
why?
less gas money on this one is only thing i can think of...
no offence,i like VW but i think the RS2 is far better...
I drove a V6 Syncro & it didn't seem any quicker than the V5 to be honest. I think the V5 drives better as you don't have to rev it so much as the torque is available earlier. And it sounds better too.
I couldn't find a Syncro with the spec I wanted either.

I couldn't justify having the RS2 as it would only have got occasional weekend use. Plus I need to free up some cash to buy a van for work....
