  • Hello All!

    Hello peeps!

I've been keeping an eye on the 'For Sale' section of the forum but i think it's time to post my 1st post. I know a couple of members already through VW forums but this is the first Audi forum i've signed up to.

I own a MK1 Golf GTI. It's N/A 2.0(3A) with a TSR Performance 8v Pack D head and a few other mods. I resently took it to Santa Pod where I got a 14.6 I'm having the engine rolling roaded on the 26th for the first time.

My plan over the next year is to build a 16v turbo for it using S2 pistons, rods, manifolds, turbo and management. The engine will be built with an aim of 300ps+ - keep in mind it weighs 840kg...

Here's a little picture of my Golf

    Thanks

    V

    (p.s i love the smilies )

thats gonna be even more rapid. Looks like a very clean example though. I do like the mk1's but they are getting a bit old to be a day to day car for me now. Would still like one though.

You'll have to sell me the 2.0 litre engine as the s2 stuff won't fit in it
You need a 1.8 16v to fit the S2 rods and pistons straight in.

That's the one, BRY. I'll be using a KR block, head and cams with S2 pistons, rods etc. Should be a good challenge. I know it'll be over-kill in a FWD car but it'll be fun! I'm just trying to decide whether i should go for a K24 or K26 turbo.

Thanks again for the warm welcome
