I have finally found osme time to get my site live - it's all over the shop now but i will be sorting it out over the next few days/weeks/months so it looks a bit more dynamic In the meantime take a peek and if you want a heart attack, look at the Service Diary - i have completed the costs for years 2000 thru 2002.

text is very hard to read David! maybe its becuase I have an Avant though? but at least the pictures work for me! maybe thats the slower Coupe's net connections ? us Avantees run 1 meg connections, much faster, like our cars :nana:

Great site.

Pics are great, Avant speed connection .

But text is oretty difficult to read, bifocals and all...try using a non-bold font...

Glad to see somebody els's running costs, I really don't feel so bad about mine.

Yeah - forget the text, it was in impact but i changed some back to verdana cos it was cleaner. Gallery is snatched back from an old geocities site for speed but left as is - will thumbnail it all shortly and add some more piccies too.

Obviously Doug and Martyn you guys are used to paying out shed loads cos neither of you blinked at the service bills for 2 1/2 years ownership. I think they are standing at about £5066.79 and thats without this years which i will add this evening!!!!!!!

That currently works out that I have spent about £5.55 PER DAY (without 2003 costs)

You should try adding in insurance and petrol and working out how much it costs per mile....

That will make your eyes water.

Michael - damn, thats true - havent added the insurance costs to the yearly spend, i know in the first year it was £1104 :eek2:

I won't even think about fuel - though its fair to say that Shell should be sending a christmas card this year and maybe my very own tanker.

It gets REAL ugly when you factor it all in, and I do mean all. The road tax, fuel insurance the odd fine etc.

I'm trying to be dilignet about it so that I know where my cash goes but boy does it hurt......

~ £3745 so far WITHOUT Petrol in just over a year. But that includes new Discs and Full suspension kit, 2 services (audi service £150, local garage £45). 2 grand of that is insurance (bastids!). Gonna have some new spanky HIDs soon , Big brakes and then the expensive stuff will start.

was thinking - i could have bought a shed for 250 notes to run around in and have spent £6k on a half decent UR.....

But then - i wouldn't change anything about owning an S2, apart from maybe a bit more access under the hood!

Keeoing a running tab of how much it costs is great.

You do realise how much these beasts cost, but also that running another car is also expensive....trust me I know.

Do you honestly think an Ur is cheaper to run? Even as a mileage limited classic......
