What......
- The fact that it is damn cold?
- The fact that you have silver rings around your gauges (looks good btw)?
- The fact that your engine has not been running long?
- The fact that you took that picture in a petrol station?
- The fact that (like me) you reset your trip counter every time you fill up with petrol?
- The fact that the last part of your last journey was with your foot on the clutch to give such a long fuel range?

Mines just about to hit 172k and as far as i know all engine internals / turbo are original and running fine

3b coupe 175000ml on original every thing until oil pump went just been rebuilt s6 on 189000 original every thing accept front wheel bearings at150k and oil cooler at 170k hope im not tempting fate hear

My new 3b I just bought two weeks ago is at 160k miles...engine runs like new but theres a few bits and bobs need doing as the last owner neglected her totally for 3 years and 20k miles .......before that she had full VAG service history to 140k miles) as the previous but one owner was a company MD!

My 94 ABY Avant has this week reached 180,000 (M)
MRC re-map and runs silent on the motorway, absolutely NO funny noises.
Touch wood, very happy.

1991 3b S2 the clock says 179k miles but had a speedo fitted at 45k miles which makes it 224000 miles total, still going strong used most days for commuting to work, the pearlescent white looks great.

Saying that my wife has a 1982 Porsche 944 with just over a 100k on the clock
