Inverness S2

[Offroad URQ]

Hi All,
Only my 3rd post around these parts, so please be patient if it's a bit long winded...
Well I picked up a 95' ABY engined dark metallic green S2 coupe in Derby yesterday. Drove it back over the last two days (500+ miles ...brave and stupid I know). All seems to working fine and the performance was a shocking revelation as to how bad my old UR had deteriorated... Well at least she can now go to pasture until I get all the parts I need.
Anyway, the S2 is fitted with 17" BBS, drilled/grooved front brakes and Koni shocks, everything else is standard, no mods as yet to the engine .. Handles like a dream, engine pressure and everything else all going to spec.. MOT just last week. So at least all the easy stuff seems to be done. A few niggles to sort out (rattles and squeaks but nothing too bad for an 87K mile car)
Only managed to post one pic as I got home in the dark. Had to clean her up from all the salt and muck from the roads first. More to follow if anyone's interested.

Well done bud should give us a buzz so can take a look at the beast plus if you need any in the help in the future i have the full audi workshop manuals for the s2 and a huge garage

Been busy putting the UR off road today so just got back from her very last trip to the driveway where she will no doubt sit for a while. Sad day but happy to have a new beast to play with

I'll try and upload some decent photos later when I clear my feet of moving and sorting out paperwork. Bah!

Flags changed already

The plates were already Scottish flagged just covered up with stickers. Removed them at a service station just past Newcastle so she came home with the St Andrews crosses in full display...
Poor thing is covered in Snow at the mo... so no decent recent pics till a bit of a thaw sets in..

Yip, I thought I'd scottish plates on it when I owned it , I canny remember where the guy used to live , but I remember meeting up with him at Penrith when I sold it to him...
