Well just thought I'd post a pic of the auld girl too. Rust 'n trashed BBS. Makes me feel bad when I see the condition of the others posted on here Good motivation to go get her sorted out!

arhg, all these Urq pics makes me want one

how does the Urq handles/drives when compared to the S2. Weight is less which is nice , but how about wind noise at high speed cruising, cornering and so forth?

Ive still got my CoupeGT, but that´s a totally different animal compared to the S2, guess its pretty evident why, no turbo, no quattro Still love that one also, i have a thing for old Audi´s

Bought the CGT 6 years back, because i´ve allways loved the Urq, and CGT was as close i could get back then with my limited financial situation.

When money finally was there i´ve met a little thing called 20vt and then i needed a 20vt Urq which is insanely expensive, collectors item i suppose.

Long story short, i went for the S2 and absolutly love her, but all these Urq pics makes me think, as if looking at the CGT everyday is not enough

Well having just jumped from one to the other in the last week. The S2 is a far more refined car. Handling on the S2 seems comparable - difficult for an idiot like me to judge as my UR is fitted with Konis and H&R springs so very stiff and roller skate like. Noise wise - a lot more wind noise than the S2. You'd expect that as the S2 is far more efficient aerodynamically and the UR is a late 70's early 80's design- very boxy but that's all part of the charm.
Cruising the S2 wins - the UR is not a great cruiser it needs driven (well mine did anyway).
Horses for courses as it depends on what you like - I now love both but the noise of the 10V UR is difficult to beat

Ditto because the only good images I have of mine are really old ones that have been plastered across the net countless times before.
Can't wait for my ur to see the light of day again, soon very soon!!!
