Some nice piccies (courtesy of Meguiars)

    Hi,

Well I finally found my camera lead! Shame I didn't have my camera handy on the garage forecourt earlier, parked up next to a super-shiney BMW and my paintwork outclassed his by a mile. And by the look on the geezer's face as I pulled away, he knew it. It was like a mirror under those lights

But, for now here's one from the Virginia Waters meet, one one from tonight - a quick shot to show how reflective she is, even in a very low light situation (had to use 5s of exposure and a very steady knee!). More to come-

    Cheers
    Ross

lol.. ok emphasis on the "more to come" - none of my other shots came out. Oh, and Steve's car looked really good until we get there - he put an hour into it before the journey down the M4

Nice day, I'll take a few though a quick look reveals a nice film of dust ove the car Now where's a clean microfibre?

@ Ross, I've got some beauty shots of your car from last year (when Chris still had it) at a show in Leeds. I'll dig them out and post them here so you can save them.

@ Fatty, you need bigger brakes under those lovely rims!

Yeah I know! You would be able to see 996 monoblock rather nicely through the spokes.....

I am getting marrired on Saturday, then paying the bills including the fortunes we are no doubt spending on the honeymoon, so I don't know when I am going to have enough cash to buy said brakes I think I may have to buy the brakes a bit at a time, once I have paid for this wedding....

                    Cheers,

BRY did my kit and it was truly 'Bolt-on'. Would suggest black monoblocks for the more OEM look.

Good luck for the big day!

Why of course! It can only be BLACK monoblocks, possibly without the Porsche logo!

                        You have fine taste

Congrats Steve!, but the obvious answer here is to take her to the registry office instead and then a nice long weekend in Bognor. Then you should have enough left over to get your nice, shiny new brakes. I'm sure she would understand.

When your brakes arrive you can lay them all out nicely on the kitchen table for her to admire, alongside the old ones. You could even ask her to help fit them, just to help bond that loving new partnership.

I was talking to BRY some time ago about putting the Audi rings or quattro onto the calliper using a CNC. I'm sure it's been done before (seem to remember seeing some pics) and remember it looking proper bling. You've got to have confidence in your programming ability with £300 of monoblock at you mercy! Black monoblocks with body coloured Quattro on them... Get saving!

Sorry to have hijacked the thread btw
