some small modifications on my car

    hey guys

i just wanted to show you some pictures of my coupé in order to hear your opinion.

    some information about it:

The coupé was built in december 1991. The engine was original an ABK 2.0i engine with 115hp.
this had been to slow for this car, so i killed a crashed audi 90 20v quattro in order to switch to a 5cylinder. but i will show you some pictures:

first of all i switched to 5x112 with A4 rear discs on the rear-axle. this works wonderfully:

the engines had been mounted out in only one day:

ok, here we go, the second part:

    all 4 joints new made:

    with the new engine mounted:

everything worked as it has to:

some new parts, TT-pedals with black powder coated plates, rs2 tachometer-case with black rings, new climatronic-panel, s2 small instruments:

for the autocheck, the speed-fixer (right word?!?), the outside-temperature-panel, the new climate-control, the servotronic i needed to pin in some new cabels:

the panic-switcher from the Audi A4 fitted without any problems in the door panel ;-) and works very well with an A4 central-locking-system:

      a new made servotronic-gearbox oiltight:

      everthing works:

      everything mounted and alright:

      everything perfectly working and alright:

now the coupé is nearly fully equipped except of an electrical sunroof and airbags. carbon-inlays are bought but not mounted yet.

the really stupid thing is that the engine collapsed now after 2 months, because of the screw at the "kurbelwellenriemenscheibe" called in german. the timing belt jumped of and the pistons hit the valves.

-> NOW it is time for an Turbo, the ABY engine is in the garage and is only waiting for to get in my car.

Hopefully you can enjoy the pictures, lots of more pix are on my homepage by clicking on "Umbau-Doku".

      nice evening,

ok, last post today some mor pictures:

this big fu***** screw in the middle is guilty for the collapse of the engine

but until the screw got lost, he was running very well:

here the rare treser-headlights. i´ve bought these from a part-dealer for 150€ obviously the guy wasn´t knowing what expensive and rare parts he had

and here the new ABY-engine, with the RS2 intake manifold (which is for SALE!!)

        nice weekend
