Possible replacement for the S2 - am I mad?

As you know I'm looking for something to replace my recently sold S2. I considered a 996 but decided that I don't really want to spend 28k at the monent - maybe next year

I have decided I need something a bit mad and different and as I live between Donnington and Mallory I've decided a track car may be in order. So after considering all sorts I've decided this rare little beastie might be in order.

197 bhp (if uprated model) 0-60 in about 4 secs, 100 in a bit less than 12 secs. Weighs in at about 600kg. Seen some vids of these on the track and hey even give F360s a good run so long as the straights aren't too long

Not very practial as no doors or roof at all. So am I mad or will it be a good purchase at about 19K. Depreciation seems to be pretty low and it's cheaper than an Ariel Atom. Anyone got any knowledge or experience of these?

How about an Exige for that sort of money? Maybe a bit more practical - well in terms of a roof and windows.
Or is it not hardcore/track focused enough........
