    Realistic Aim?

After a bit advice on what kinda performance to expect from my Slipper waggon (urS6 AAN), if I decide to slip further onto the dark side
    Current setup includes:
    Std. bottom end
    RS2 Headgasket, ported, polished head
    RS2 EM
3" Custom Turbo Back single Sports Cat Exhaust
    Samcos
    Forge DV
    Std IC
    1.8T Coils

    My next stage included:
    RS2 turbo
    Green injectors
    Bosch Motorsport fuel pump
    Re-map

I appreciate the 2 weakest links are going to be bottom end (shells) & standard IC Other than this, can anyone spot anything totally wrong with the setup? What kinda figures can I expect with the above BHP/Torque?

    Cheers

I would say no more than 600Nm on stock rods.

I think, you should forget standard ic. Go for big IC, because you will suck with hot air, with rs2 turbo.

        1. Definitely change the IC before fitting the RS2 turbo if you want to get the most out of it. You're spending alot of money to get the performance right, so for the sake of a few hundred you want those cool intake temps!

        2. The rods will be your weak-point, I think the 600nm that Stu mentioned is about max but at lower RPMs you'd have to limit it to 500-550 to be safe. The RS2 turbo WILL bend rods from what I've been told, if it's mapped to its limits on stock internals.

I think 360-380bhp would be expected from this set-up, and that will go like hell...

          Cheers for the advice people
I am also concerned about the standard IC and therefore trying to get an idea of how this would limit me? The idea of replacing the stock item for a front mounted job would be ideal, however as I wish to maitain the stock look, I don't fancy chopping up my bumper too much
When I look behind the bumper I'm not convinced of the space as the radiator and AC condensor seem to take a lot of space.
I'd be interested to see how your IC looks Petya, I agree for a few hundred quid it would be a worthwhile venture, however getting it done for this kinda money and looking discreet is another thing
Looks like I may have to start another thread Regading IC.
Any more advice would be much appreciated

          Thanks

Rs2 Intercoooler will fit with only very minor modifications....... This will maintain the stock look you are after while also cooling intake temps significantly...Bumper will fit back as stock.

RS2 crossmember would make it a straight fit but Im not sure if this fits your car.

Some members do, but it is usually a later addition after the IC

S2Dude if only it was a straight forward as an S2, the urS6 & urS4 both have the IC's tucked up into the passenger wing Thus making a front mounted IC slightly more difficult as it's not just a case of popping a bigun in there
Anyways any clues as to the BHP I would acheive with the stock IC?

                              Hi!
Think the FMIC is popular in the States. You might be beter off loking on some of their forums for ideas. Audiworld and Motorgeek spring to mind!
There are kits available. Think 034 might do one and so do this company:
