      Very nice looking car!!

I found the kw suspension on this website if anyone is interested:

      Click link and go to products and click KW brand. . . . . . . . .

Its also shockingly cheap for other parts, etc.

      One question though:
How do you jack the fooker up now, i can just get the hydraulic jack under mine now at standard ride height

Suppose you could just fit a lifting bay in that gigantic mother of a garage

Suspensión is a KW-Variant 2 which is height ajustable and rebound ajustable.
On the specs it says you can lower the car from 35mm to 65 mm but the truth is that you have two "nuts" and a very wide range of height to set it.
You can set it even higher than standard suspension but I reckon the springs are compressed on that setting and ride is very bumpy.
The pic comes form www.rs-zwei.com go to the tuning menu and then to the Fahrwerk botton.
Overall is a great suspension for smooth surfaces but over bumpy roads is not that good because suspension travel is very short and I hit bumpstomps in every bump that is higher than a smashed coke can.
The good point is that the car never grounds (I hit bumpstosps berfore that) and I can probably fit very large wheels with it.

I got hold to the complete front suspension of and RS2 recently so I am going to try the car with that setting on the front and the KW on the rear. Will set it as high as the front and with the rebound a bit softer than know and will see if I get improvements on bumpy roads.

Siena, I am not really sure about the color (I allways thought it was Ming Blue or something like that) But because dealer lost my service book I don't know the code. I have found a catalogue on the Internet and looking there I think the paint should be "Indigo Blue Pearl effect"
If someone else knows about it is a very dark blue, almost black. It looks very good now because I got the whole car resprayed a year and a half ago.

Have a look in the boot under the carpet and behind the side trims. All V.A.G cars have a data sticker fitted at the factory with details of engine, geabox, paint code and trim codes etc. You can even tell what day it was built from the codes along the top of it.

It's a long shot as most of them get ripped out or fade away to nothing over the years but you never know. If it's there get a picture of it or note down all the info on it and I'll sort out your paint colour for you.

I could not find any sticker on the back, however I have asked the dealer to view from my service history the paint of my car.
When I have and answer I will post it.
Gabor, your car looks very very good indeed. You know your colour code, because I think is the same

P.S. I really like fat sterring wheels it gives the feeling that you are driving with racing gloves all the time.

                      Nice looking S2!

                      Looks good!
Is that the twin turbo brakes or the "standard RS2" ones? I am looking for cross drilled 314X30 discs for my brake conversion, they are hard to find, I am close to go for standard A8 discs.

BTW do you have RS2 hubs and wheels too? Looks like 5x130 rather than 5x112 to me. Think the cup wheels fits the S2 nicely. Have got RH ZW1 wheels on my car http://home.c2i.net/lkolstad/Bilder/S2_.jpg
Before anybody comments, I know, could do with a bit of lowering!

                      Cheers

The brakes are the modified RS2 system.

You could buy them through Audi or through Porsche, only than Porsche is much cheaper.

Calipers are from the 993 twin turbo bought at Porsche. Unfortunately the brake discs I bought had incorrect offsets so I bought them again at Audi, price was double than at Porsche Does anybody know the Porsche part number / car for the 322x32 application on the RS2?

Anyway I kept the Porsche rotors, so when the ones I have are out I will just change the hats as they are two piece and save some money.

                        Cheers,

I have seen some wood inserts to bracket your aftermarket stereo on www.prewoodec.de. The kit also include wooden inlays for the rear ashtray and the fan opening rims.
