I got stung by the ol' oil in the apex of a bend on a single-track country lane many many years ago, ended up rolling it and the car came to rest on its roof. Good lord that was scary.

I'd mirror what everyone has said though: glad that you're ok, and if you've not lost all hope, get the S2 fixed and love it all over again!

As above... just read the thread and you have my sypathies... glad you're OK. Cars are a little easier to fix up when they get broken than people!

But, I'd have been at the side of the road yelling "why didn't you just take me instead!" at the sky for at least 10 minutes

PS - dont let it go to sal, it's a 3B for god's sake, he'll butcher it with a sadistic laugh . That said it's not emerald green so it may stand half a chance...

Rob- don't worry, it wasn't in the S2! I was 18, driving my mum's Metro, hit some oil mid-bend, corrected the slide but ended up hitting the bank which flipped the car over. When the firemen came to clean up the mess one of them nearly slipped on his ar*e on the slick in question and commented quite strongly on how "bl**dy slippery" the road was!
