Had a bit of issues to make the Racepak IQ3 to communicate with the AEMNets CAN channels, and to get the correct readings on the display. But now its finally up and running 100% like we want to.
Gear indicator and VSS is also handy when logging data. Will try to implement some more temp readings this winter. First the transmission temp, and maybe the rear differential.
Tried a set of new tires this season. Semislicks Federal RS-RR 265/40-18. Medium bite, and they last long.

Finally a rear brake upgrade. From the ventilated 269mms to Brembo Monoblocks from Q7, with Black Diamond discs. Brake pads Ferodo DS2500.
Also bought a set of CL Brakes pads for the ZR18s this year. Awesome bite.
Changed the brake fluid to Motul 660 when we were at it.

Thanks! We have a couple of build hours on this one now

          Have started the disassembly.
Making loong to-do lists, and measuring up for the rear wing. Any tips for carbon/alu wings with 1850mm width? Similar to APR, or is this the ****?

Had a bit of a covid-19 break last year from driving, but that does not mean we were resting in the garage.

Ordered rear carbon wing from Carbon Composite Parts in England.
Made some custom uprights. Water cut, 6mm thickness.

New 0A3 gearbox from RS4, with custom made mounts. Had a bit of service on that one, had to exchange the 3rd gear.A couple of new synchros.
We modified the 01E driveshaft flanges to make it fit the 0A3 with locking circlips, so that we could reuse our S2 driveshafts.
            Propeller shaft got shortened

Had to upgrade the front hubs. The wheel bearings seemed to have been pulled out of the housing because of the grip and with 260 slick tyres.
So machined out, so we could place circlips to lock the bearings.

New engine harness, and a new power harness inside. New Talon Switch Control system also bought in, to throw out all the wiring and switches to simplify things.

Some small servicing on the engine. Made myself a leak tester, seems like it works fine.
ASNU injectors also got some service, cleaning and flowtesting.
              New timing belt.

She's getting better. Very stable on the straights, and under braking.
Had a accident in June month, where the hood came off. A bit scary as I was driving in 200kmh. Hopefully it wont happen again.
Went to a Vw/Audi trackday meeting this weekend. Car was getting faster and faster. Was struggling a bit with the water cooling at the rear, sometimes a bit too high.
Suddenly we got a sound of connecting rod bearing noise, so we had to pull in. Oil pressure seemed fine, so I don't this there is a big issue.

Got time to drain the sump today, nothing big there. But filter had a bit of metallic oil, so my guess they are just worn out from 5 years of icetrack and tarmac abuse.
