Repeat that above and you may actually "die" next time. [harsh? maybe, but true nonetheless]

Really pleased to see you were all ok.

Glad you all walked away, and have the stones to admit you were pushing your luck

See lots of prangs in my line of work and one like this often involves serious injury, as mentioned before, a lesser car and you could all have died. Was a similar acident few mates on station went to last year, 5 dead teenagers all at the scene. Just spare a thought for the guys like me, we have to sort out the mess and (as in this case) deal with the parents at the scene.

Yep, we all do crazy things on road when we are yong, that s why i am very glad I didn't had the money to buy a fast car in my 20 's. I only did distroy a Seat Ronda ( who remembers it ?? ) and a Golf I Rabbit, lol !

Just wait until your 30 to put some serious money in your car, you will have more experience and you 'll be a little calmed down on the accelerator !!

Pic of front end, yep all windows got smashed up. VERY VERY lucky to be here.
The tree stump (now removed) had made origami work of the rad as if it were paper. Also big space where most of the sump should be. oh and a tree root was in the fuel cap when we went to see it next day.

Thanks for all the comments people, much appreciated.

A 1.3 got me a quote of £700 to insure only want to be spending £500 max on insureance. cus its a NCB build up thing. Save more to help toward a new coupe which by the looks keeps getting further away from reality but I'll get there cus I'm truly madly deeply about the S2
Also oly - the chap on the left in the photo of the three of us on first page- is talking about starting rallying again which sounds like something to get into... well get the practice in I suppose even though it'll be 1.3 escorts or of sorts "Rollcage for me then"

Glad to hear that you are okay though.

              Cheers,

I was, well I am. took awile to do but after looking at many threads about car collisions where some lived and some died. I felt I should own up in some way, to remember them or to remind us of them. The community here is one of few who would/can understand and think about the bigger picture.

other then that I guess I'm just riding the guilt. Still very gutted it happened but wouldn't change it if I could. Not every time 3people are involved in a collision like that at those speeds and angle and walk away clean.

Cheers for looking but it'll be a ABY for me and only when I've earned it.
I was only paying under £500 a year for the V6 and refuse to give the gits any more then that at all.

never quite understood the short terms like IMO and that.

I meant to type "I would BE too embarrassed to post" but my fingers stopped working.

I know what you are saying, but standing on top of a wrecked car smiling looks a little crass, but each to their own and I think I understand your reasons for posting.

I will go off and carrying on being a grumpy old man now! :lol

Once again, glad to hear you are all okay and if it makes people think twice about their own driving then your pictures have served a purpose.

                      Cheers,

                      Steve.
