Nice find! The 20v motors are very rare in both coupe and 90 form. The 7A is a nice engine, sounds great, loves to rev, and has more character than the turbo versions, unfortunatly its tied to a brick so performance isnt that great. Came so close to buying one before i got the coupe, and i'm told they handle slightly better due to the stiffer body shell and better weight distribution. Always wanted to build one with a 4.2 V8 for the ultimate cruiser

Looks like a nice motor, shame about the caravan bar!

NA with as much induction roar and exhaust burble as it possible Love it! Fast road cams, tubular EM & decent system, remap and some head work must get it somewhere over 200bhp so it's not going to be a slouch! Fit some 996s and some decent suspension and go play. Should all be possible for the same cost as a turbo conversion and a couple of toys.

Keep it stock-ish - keep the body as is, tune the engine a wee bit. Don't phuck it up, that is a rare car.

My 2p, is keepit stock'ish, ported head/new injectors & remap/monoblocks. Then use it as ultimate daily driver and throw parts & hp at another project
Your gonna need a BIGGGGG garage for all these projects, with a socket for kettle of course

don't all 7A engines have one? never seen an 'normal' EM for an 20V I5

Later 20Vs had a cast EM. My old cq20v had on of those.
Keep it stock Bry and put it with the RS1600i. Car's like that need preserving IMO.
