I have just landed myself a better job.... now .. shall I do up the s2 or shall i buy a rs4?

then maybe get rs3 when it comes out? ... what are your thoughts?

Really depends on what you want out of the car. Personally i'd go down the s2 route, but thats only cause i love mine

I'm sure you'll love which ever route you choose though.

I have a new boxster S and love it but when wanting a more 'practical' car I looked at the rs4, lovely car but the exclusivity and history of the RS2 hooked me even though it was similar money. The trouble is it's not just about speed is it! It's about having something different for me.

I don't think an RS3 will happen anytime soon - the next RS is to be the RS6, and Audi only ever produce one RS model at any given time.

Get an RS2, and tweak it a little...

Right, well if you can afford a new RS4 saloon, then it's very clear to me what you should be doing :-

1. Keep the S2 and max it out, whatever your plans are, just go for it.

2. Buy a B5 RS4 for "running around in" - if you dont want an avant, then buy a B5 S4 saloon and slam an RS4 engine in (or go the K04 route with the S4 engine).

3. With the change, (vs a B7 RS4) go take a nice holiday.

Easy job, well that's what I'd do...we're all different...

Chris, you can't spend all that time just about hanging on to your S2, then dump it.
I agree with Clive. Top idea.
Max out the S2 like you've always wanted to. Although I agree with Jamo. No crazy Jap style bodykits.
