Dezent alloys on my Alpine White ABY coupe

Had these fitted on Saturday after buying them off Jamo over 2 months ago!

Fronts are fitted with new Eagle F1 GSD3s 225/45R17s and rears are Bridgestone Potenza S-03s (which are obsolete so I went for the Eagles).

The wheels have completely changed the look of the car and I'm still trying to decide how much I like them! Will get it all clean and shiny for Combe in August an take some proper pictures then.

Hmmm... that went a little wrong! The pics are a little large and show how unclean the car and wheels are... Brian / Fatty is going to lynch me! Aaaaaagh! The horror...

Can one of the mods resize the pictures please?

Andy - no offense but thats the first thing you've done to your car that I don't like !

Those rims don't suit your Alpine White beast... clean, dirty or otherwise IMHO - A set of white superlite OZ motorsport wheels would be just delicous !

hmmm i think i'm going to have to agree with Paul, for some odd reason on a light S2 they make the car look older than with a flat faced design like the standard avus..? On a dark coloured S2 they look great but on a pearlescent its not working for me...I was wondering what a set of new RS4's would look like on a light coloured S2 as the reps are quite cheap on the bay...

As stated before, I'm undecided. They look better in real life than in the photos, strage but true! They do completely change the shape of the car though, very strange!

Possibly a little too pimp for my shy and retiring personality... Anyway, they're staying on there so I'll have plenty of time to make my mind up!

Andy, can you resize your photos/upload to gallery instead?

try this Andy, usually works a treat:

just select 800x600 once installed against any photo you want to upload

No. Andy. No. Give them back to Jamo. They're much more his style.

Oh well, doesn't seem to be a popular choice but they're not going anywhere for a while, 17" wheels aint cheap! The car certainly gets a few more looks now though which is both good and bad. I'm sure it'll get a lot more attention at shows now too so it should massage my ego somewhat! 17s were always a handling choice over style for me anyway so time to spend money elsewhere.
