Time I started an ongoing thread to cover any mods and changes etc

These pics are as I bought it.
New front fog will be ordered asap, and afew other subtle changes looks wise will be done, but apart from that, any other changes will be where they should be: under the bonnet!)

Looking good, just wondering if that the s2 badge has been removed from the grille or if for some reason it did not have one? You going to put it back on or remove the back one and create a bit of a sleeper like andersS2 avant?

The rear one will be replaced too as its slightly corroded with age.

I normally HATE them, but for some reason I dont think they look too bad, so for now they will stay... maybe just for the winter months!

I didnt realise it was exactly the same as Anders', quite ironic really as his car is my favourite and most definitly a role model for mine!

As for it being an Avant, well they are the best arnt they

Be carefull with the mudflaps when reversing tho, my 20v quattro sport had them on and was lowered, I reversed up a kerb and it wedged them into the rear wheel and broke them.

Ps, I have the same base colour, but diffrent nyance (?, dont know the english word).
But absolutley a very very beutifull and deep colour which reveals itself when polishedn and cared with

I managed to get the bonnet clayed, Super resin polish and Extra Gloss Protection this morning before it got too hot in the sun.
Cant wait to see the whole car finished!

Looking very nice, how long did it take?

About an hour including washing the whole car first at a guess.
The dealer badge is now off, as is the handsfree kit aerial.
Im struggling to find anywhere online that sells front fogs (would rather try to find one than go to an Audi dealers!)
Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Surprised someone on here don't have one, think spink had some fog lights for sale if you look in the forum/for sale section.
