before any one asks we had a bad weekend, but did finish almost last it was the first year I rallyed the quattro and we had a big problem with the rear brakes locking up before the frounts a few quattro owner freinds were spectating and told me other spectators were heard saying why is that man in the audi pulling the hand brake all the time if only they knew ! thats why I am a lot side ways on some of the last pictures Ray

are you doing the tempest in November too btw? i went last year was a cracking day out, not least co it was 8 miles from the house Hmm actually have to be carefull in Nov as the 2nd sprog is due.

Do you need to be able to marshall to marshall that event, having not done it before?

anyone wishing to marshal on the rally [2nd sept] should be able to contact someone at sutton and cheam motor club, with ref on how to do it . I am not doing the rally tempest sprint ,as part of it is on the loose which the car is not set up for, the main reason is that the organisers are allowing higher octain fuel to be used which the rich boys can afford £20.00 per gallon[ave 5 mpg],so its a case of the man with the most money wins

so are you running your car there at all? would have liked to see it in the flesh/heard it going? I will be in london that weekend as doing a monopoly bar crawl on the sat for my birthday so would have loved to come and watched and finished the weekend off with some quality cars.

sorry to confuse every one ! yes I am doing the mini tempest stages at longcross on the sunday 2nd sep 07 ,,, but I am not doing the tempest rally sprint which is in a couple of weeks [not sure why they are both called tempest] ray

welst Iam at it, I will be at castle coombe on the 22nd sep 07 /rally day , as the wifes been moaning that Ive not taken her out in the thing that she says I care more about than her anyone there on the day just say hello

here are a few more pics from another rally we did in 05. http://www.tonylargephotographic.co.uk/ , then as before clic on rallying ,then find a rally, look for bomb along stages 11 sep 2005, then go to pages 13 &14. on this event we had hall sender failure [no spare ] but managed to finish and went well when we got it started
