I have been offered a 1991 3b S2 coupe with 148k miles on it.
Private plate which is non age related ***CKF
Full audi and specialist service history
Heated black leather in excellent condition
Aircon
Pre-position sunroof
Rear opening windows
Avus 16" wheels
It has been standing for 12 months and is generally scruffy
Before being parked it had a new gearbox and new front and rear calipers.
Started first time with a fresh battery.
How much is it worth?

Difficult to say without seeing it, but if you think it'll clean up ok after a good valet i'd of said about £2700 - £3000.

But this is only from what others are selling for. And obviously if it has not mot or tax then that brings the price down. I always think selling a car without mot seriously drops the price.

Has it got an aquarium in the rear lights and a sunroof that opens and closes on it's own so it looks like it's trying to take off?

Without a valid MoT you don't know what you are buying without a proper inspection - so offer something silly like a grand and take it from there. Failing that, give me the address......

Wasn't this car recently on ebay and for sale from a guy in Llaneli? If it's the one i'm thinking of then it sold for somewhere in the region of 2500. Decent car could do with some sprucing up but otherwise looked very nice.
