what i also like is the glass sunroof which i talked to webasto can only make it aftermarket on my avant....tempted but...not sure..

Not sure if I've understood your post, but please never wreck a shell by putting any after market sunroof into the car. If your car has not got a factroy sunroof, don't touch, spend the money on something else for the car. Change the shell if you must have a sunroof. You'll be pleased long after the effort and money is forgotten.

yes i do agree on that as well.It is just that it looks nice and i thought since webasto makes the roofs for audi it would be the best solution,but i have the same concerns as you do for an aftermarket unit.
