Got an old friend back today...

...I owned this car a few years ago and the recently found out it was for sale again...so I picked it up for next to nothing. I know it's not a S2, but, it's the closest engine-wise that we ever received here in the US!

I like that, some bigger wheels and lowering would make it look awesome!

More subtle than even an S2 with some decent performance and more space. Nice work! Enjoy and get modifying!

The black looks lovely and deep, nice corner that you parked it on, reminds me of the old rallying courses.

Actually right now it has some 5-spoke gunmetal colored Enkei wheels on it...don't know if I plan to keep them yet, but, bigger wheels do look better (always been a fan of the earl S8 18" wheels although they're super hard to come by here as we didn't receive the S8 until 2001)! Suspension work is definitely in order though!

More interior space, although, it doesn't have those nice fold down seats that the B4 sedans have! The one nice thing about the S6 is that either (newer) Audi owners don't know what it is or you get that crazed look from sportier looking car drivers as you go blowing past them in an "old man's" sedan. Either way it's quite the sleeper!

Yes, fortunately the paint is still in great shape after 12+ years! Believe it or not that's actually at the top of my folk's driveway at their home in the mountains (approx. 8000 feet) here in Colorado. It's a beautiful place that they're getting ready to sell!
