I know how you feel, I hit a bank with my S2 Avant and bent a strut back, however I have gone though my insurance and it is a write off :-(

Still trying to decide on its replacement.

just to update... the RS2 is now fixed and back on the road

there is still a couple few bits of trim to put back on but apart from that shes back together.

while i was waiting for the insurance to get sorted out i bought a few extra parts,

1. VDO boost gauge in bar (thanks si for the GB)
2. custom mats with the RS2 logo on them (thanks error404 for the GB)
3. HKS SSQV with recirc fitting

parts not yet fitted:

1. blue top mounts
2. powerflex front wishbone bushes
3. H&R RS2 springs (thanks Lloyd)

ha ha! no it wouldnt upload the pics on to the pc.. now it says 'card error' on the camera. think i've lost a couple o hundred pics of the car and my little girl!

oh the speedo stoped working the other day, could it be the speedo or something else? it aint calculating the MPG

i forgot how goood the car sounds

Probably a sensor for the speedo.
MPG is calculated off it too I think so I'd imagine that that would be the cause of that problem as well.

My guess is a sensor, as the MPG reads off the same sensor to the best of my (limited) knowledge. Though it could well be wiring related to said sensor.
