Mine is going mighty... it embarrassed an S5 tonight... even if I was unfair - point made, but an RS2 setup would roast one.Paul Nugent

Can I ask what carriers you used to fit this caliper and disc combination?
Did you alter the size of the disc.
My understanding is the standard "small" RS2 Reds factory matching disc is 304mm? (5 x 130).
Thank for any info.
BTW, you'd want to get all of that list done, because you won't get a thing done when the baby arrives!
BTDT. Happy days though.
Kind regards.Comment

Where do I start:- bought a beautiful, but rather tired 'Gwen' in Sep 07 for a snip at £1400. It started with some initial casual jobs such as having the backend plastic-welded and resprayed to make the rear end 'cosmetic' again £750 new wheels £400 new Koni adjustables £400, rear brakes and discs. 2 doner cars later, plus a replacement leather interior at £250, the list goes on, and on like you wouldnt believe, my understanding of the german language has spiralled in the last two years and I am way over 11K now. Gwen, unfortunately had a rupture to an oil gallery which was identified when an RS2 manifold was applied to the head and 'said' manifold bolts were removed - it was a shame - I had just had 163 put pf her so was rather pleased. I obtained a new top and bottom engine which lasted about 3 months before the bottom end went. £500 later, I have a third engine waiting to go in, to which I hope to mate to my custom 3" exhaust (which needs fixing), all of my RS2 ported 'bits' and 034 toys and for the first time see it go like a bat out of hell. As soon as it goes- I need to start thinking about replacig the UFO's with something a little more appropriate.
So when will she be back on the road.... well she died in late September, and I hope to have her back on the road in the next 4 weeks. the only thing that 'grates' is the fact that I have yet to see Gwen's full potential. I have seem glimmers when we plugged my turbo/manifold/wastegate/injectors/ECU/chips/WG spring to my mates UrS4 and, well, the look of shock in the eyes of this motorcyclists as he failed to accelerate away from 0-95 on his 600cc bike was priceless as 3 guys with huge grins on their faces beamed back at him as we remained wheel to wheel!!!!
So all kind words of support are greatly appreciated.Comment

Mine's dead, (for a short while),
on the way back from Galway yesterday late afternoon and it just died whilst driving at a steady 50mph.
I reckon it's the fuel pump, or a blocked fuel pump/dirt in the tank?
( Original fuel filter underneath replaced about six months ago, went better at higher revs under load after that with no more pinking ).
AA flat-bedded it back to Dublin there and then. 100 + miles.
Will be checking the possibilities and then if nothing, replacing the fuel pump, appears original from the dirt on the lid under the three screw metal cover in the luggage area.
Can't think that it might be something else? Had just done 350 miles over the previous two days with no problem.
Gearbox also making more clackety noise in first than it used to. As a matter of interest, is first gear high up or low down in the gearbox casing? Was wondering if the oil level was low in the box, would it adversely affect first gear or is it more likely that it is just tired with 139K on it?
Thanks for any info.Comment

Car back from the dead !
Fuel pump changed, car now starts and drives.
Small amount of metal filings in the base of the fuel pump cradle in the base of the tank.
Haven't cut open the old pump yet to see how it works.
Now just waiting for the gearbox to go bang ? !Comment
