The best £250 I've spent on my S2

Hi all just thought I'd post up my experiences with my new Homefries ECU courtesy of Paul.
I can't praise his work enough the car feels completely different to drive it's smoother, the power delivery and throttle response is better and my average MPG has gone up by over 1MPG in just under 500 miles! (and I do virtually no motorway driving in the S2)

Paul's service is quick courteous and professional. In my personal opinion for £250 there shouldn't be an S2 left on the road without a homefries (I don't think I can give better praise than that).

Coupled with the Samco hoses (Paul also supplied) an RS2 intercooler (from PapVas thanks mate!!) 996 stoppers and some new Koni and H&R suspension it's almost feeling like a new car again and has certainly restored my faith in just how good these cars can be.

While I'm thanking people as well I'd like to give a big thanks to Spink who sold me a new front bumper to replace my slightly broken one and then drove miles out of his way to deliver it to me on his way down to London. I owe you a big pint mate

So that's about it a big thanks to all on this forum who have been of help over the last 2 years of ownership, thanks to all of you I've managed to confidently tick the "My S2 is running perfectly" box in the poll and my only jobs left to do are paint and fit the bumper and get an RS2 Airbox and a new custom exhaust.

I couldn't have done it without you guys

No just standard grey leather and carbon at the moment.
An interior overhaul will probably be my next big job, I'd like a full RS2 interior (wouldn't we all!!) or at least the front seats and a re-trim.
And to have a go at fitting the digital climate control get rid of the rubbish standard uk A/C.
But I think I might just enjoy it for a while before I start taking it apart again.

Depends if anything comes up though there's always something round the corner to tempt you with an S2 :mischeif:

dont think of anything else but of recaros. the stock s2 seats are rubbish. if you wanna enjoy your car, buy decent seats, and a proper steering wheel.

I quite like my steering wheel! I've got the late model 3 spoke airbag wheel like newer Audi's have.
But I totally agree on changing the front seats for something more supportive. I'd like to go for the RS2 interior with the light blue alcantara inserts I think it would look nicer with the dark blue car than the light grey I have now, the trouble is going to be finding one.....

that steering wheel is great, the best is the older 3 spoke steering wheel with no airbag.
finding them is not a problem, € is the problem.
