@Darren M - Didn't test drive any others. I've had 3.2 TT and a few other Audis and the build quality has always been second to none. I wouldn't buy a BMW partly because of the 'type of buyer' generalisation. Even though they are very good cars. Although the porker drove fantastically the interior quality was poor. The movement of the engine by just 6 inches further back has made soooo much difference to the handling. It goes well enough, there's never going to be many about and it comes with all the interior goodies. Time will tell whether I still feel like this. I will update as the miles go on! However did drive it 500 mile round trip over the weekend with my mates in who are all over 6ft and knowone complained about room or lack of.

Pics to come at the weekend. Thanks for the kind words. I miss my wagon though. The stomach dropped as it was driven off....

No idea on that...it might be since these are US spec cars. this was at a local track here in Chicago...

It was part of an "Audi Driving Experience" program, free and all. They also gave us 6speed cars, which was very suprising. I got to put 6-7laps in. Carhandled great what the given weight...power was plenty, but I didn't like the fact that you hit a rev limiter pretty fast. Shifter was very tight and precise...a bit shorter too, which was nice. Brakes were great, although I couldn't really push it 10/10s. If I had the $$ I'd buy one for sure, or perhaps 3.0Q tdi w/S line package

            Congrats!
