I now have a whole garage full of S2 parts - in fact im pretty sure i could build most of an S2 out of them

Having completed the above list, i am of course doing the right thing and already making another:
    • Plasma gauges + LEDs (as per s2_bo - had all the parts for ages!)
    • Intermittent wiper relay (needs fitting)
    • Whiteline rear ARB
    • RS2 front ARB

There is also a seperate RS2 list but i want to enjoy the car in its purest for the time being.
    • RS2 Airbox
    • RS2 Exhaust Manifold
    • 034 Rods
    • RS2 Injectors
    • RS2 Turbo
    • MRC custom map

I have to say that for the first time ever being able to mash it in 1st and instantly change to 2nd - F*** ME!

        Hi Bry,

The same guy that did all of the above mechanical work, a local guy called Rich. Car mechanics started as his hobby and a nice sideline, and seems to have built into something quite alot more! He has a history in many areas of mechanics and worked on the railways.

I started using him for any work on my clio, and having watched each stage of him rebuilding a Lotus Carlton from complete scratch was pretty sure he could handle any S2 related things! He has a mint condition classic rolls in his garage he's working on at the moment, and he must be an S2 expert by now thats all i can say!

Acidburn - Funnily enough i havn't taken any pictures since fitting the RS2 bumper. I have some stunning ones "back from the beginning" when me and Steve worked some magic on her, and will be hoping to get some more as soon as i can clean her up and the sun comes out.

Quite a list there Andy, should be another S2 running RS2+ spec that I can chase down on the track :mischeif:

Nice work getting through a set of front tyres in 6 months too, easily done on these cars if you drive them with spirit!

Not got to Milltek yet as I'm still ill! Will let you know when I eventually get up there.

Sonic your nesxt mod job is to get your brother to keep the Avant!

What a nice pair of S2's you'd have.

            Impressive list you've built up!

Looking at your list if you bought a homefty from Paul you'd be hitting 280-290 bhp expecially as you have the exhaust done the car would really feel different.

Andy_Casey and Nip will both testify to this.

I think that would keep you far happier whilst you long termplan for a RS2 spec in the future

Homefries with your spec on a K24 is great fun, get a SM flywheel too as it makes a hell of a difference. MRC high boost generic map is also an option with that exhaust. Difference is 1.6bar vs. 1.4.

RS2 spec would be fun to get insured at 21 too mate!

BTW, these cars are never finished

My s2 is pretty much the same as yours Andy, just with a few less things ripped out!

Im hoping that the rear tyres will last a couple of times round the 'ring - then switch the fronts to the rear and get a new set of fronts again.

Let me know when you've been to Milltek as im still waiting for a resolution also!

Ive tried convincing Ross that he needs an s2 in one form or another, but im afraid the last year without a car, having such high hopes and so many disappointments, has destroyed the dream for him and put a very bitter taste in his mouth for anything S2 related.

Whats the 'SM' flywheel? Out of the 3b? As i understand it the heavier flywheel in the ABY makes it pick up slower?

Having had the boost gauge fitted yesterday (with some extensive "testing" today) she seems to range between -1 and 1 bar bang on.
