How do I determine whather my car is a '94 or a '95 RS2?
Of course, because it's an import the V5 gives first registration date at time of import.

Were there any differences at all? Or can the VIN tell me?

Audi might be able to give you the history if you give them the VIN number... "might"

It's in your chassis number

Count in 10 digits, is it "R" or "S".

R = 1994, S = 1995
